Use these examples as a warm-up and a 10 minute daily exercise for developing speed and control. They include the most commonly used rhythms in ROCK , JAZZ and other pop music styles. We will use them extensively in all future lessons.
MEMORIZE THEM!!!Suggested Tempo begin at 60 bpm and increase daily until approx. 80, then increase 4 bpm weekly. In one month you'll be at 96, in two months 112 bpm! |
