Use these examples as a warm-up and a 10 minute daily exercise for developing speed and control. They include the most commonly used rhythms in ROCK , JAZZ and other pop music styles. We will use them extensively in all future lessons.

MEMORIZE THEM!!!



Suggested Tempo begin at 60 bpm and increase daily until approx. 80, then increase 4 bpm weekly. In one month you'll be at 96, in two months 112 bpm!
